12 Marathons in 12 Months Complete!

At the beginning of this year, Key Digital’s Managing Director, Andy Ratcliffe, announced that he was going to run 12 marathons in 12 months to raise money for the NSPCC.

Everyone thought he was mad, but he completed his epic challenege on Sunday 20th October 2019 by finishing the York Marathon in 4 hours 39 minutes. He even managed to squeeze in a couple of ultra marathons too!

“I enjoy the challenge of doing something new and pushing myself, and if I can raise some money for charity whilst doing it then that’s even better!”, said Ratcliffe.

“Running has become a big part of my life and of Key Digital after we introduced our Desk to 10K challenge last year. After the 10K I wanted to go further and further, and marathons are the biggest challenge of all.”

Andy has been raising money via his JustGiving page for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and Key Digital have been cheering him on every step of the way.
