Key Digital’s James Birchall reaches final of Apprentice of the Year Awards

Key Digital are delighted to announce that it’s very own Marketing Apprentice, James Birchall, has been announced as a finalist in Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 Awards, in the Apprentice of the Year category.

Joining Key Digital’s head office in Burnley earlier this year, James has been a key part in developing and designing the new website, social media presence and printed media.

The Sub36 Awards are organised by Lancashire Business View magazine and celebrate the successes of young business talent across Lancashire in a number of different categories.

Key Digital’s Managing Director, Andrew Ratcliffe, says “James has come into our organisation at a very critical time when lots of changes are happening, and he has definitely adapted very well to our business. His skills are extraordinary and for someone his age he is incredibly mature and articulate, and his impact on the business has been immense. He has been described by staff members as being like “a £5 note that you find in an old pair of jeans” and that he is “just what the business needed during a turbulent industry period.”

James is completing his apprenticeship in partnership with Themis and has already decided to study another course there once his current apprenticeship has been completed.

This is the first time a member of Key Digital has been nominated for an award of this type and we are extremely proud to be a part of them.

This year’s winners will be announced at the Sub36 Awards Evening at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on the 19th of October.
